Location of the Bungalow which is close to many attractions for nature lovers is just 10 km from the city of Matale and 700 m from the town of Rattota. Rattota is the last town you meet when you are on your way to Riverston or Wasgamuwa.

The 20m high waterfall carries water from the springs of the Knuckles Range. Different varieties of butterflies and birds come here to exhibit their beauties in clear mornings.

Riverston Misty Peak The gloomy sky touches the area from time to time with dense mist. The Riverston area shelters a number of endemic plants and animals. The 2.5 km long nature trail of the area let you feel the freshness of nature. Thelgamu Oya Nature has provided a natural pond for you. year round flowing waters from the Knuckles Range feed the pond at all times.

Pitawala Pathana Covered with grass and herbs,endangered animals and plants are found here.Comming from Pathana an extremely picturesque area surrounded by blue mountains open up. Mini Worlds End At the end of Pathana you find the Mini World’s End. A right edged cliff formed by nature drops 300 m down. You look at an amazing scene that opens up once you reach the cliff’s edge.

Wasgamuwa National Park

Around 140 species of birds , elephants , deers  and many reptiles are abundant in the park. Camping sites situated in the park enable you to observe animal's nocturnal behaviors. 

Aluvihara Temple - Matale The Aluvihara Temple located at the city limits of Matale is one of the most important religious and cultural centers of Sri Lanka. The three chapters called Tripitaka - Buddhism philosophy were documented on Ola leaves here. Even today when you visit Aluvihara Temple you will see demonstrations on hoe Ola leaf writing was exactly done centuries back.
